Last night Kristina got my attention and placed my hand on her belly while we were watching television. It was one of many times that she had thought I might be able to feel the twins kicking. I never was able to feel anything but I got great enjoyment from watching Kristina’s excitement. This time turned out to be the night that I was formally introduced to my daughters. As my hand lays on Kristina’s stomach I got to feel my daughter kick for the very first time. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. For the first time my daughters were more than just a thing I got to see pictures of. It all becomes so real and wonderful.
I cannot wait to meet my daughters in person. Raising them along side Kristina will be the most amazing adventure. For now I will settle for enjoying the small gifts Kristina gives me when she feels them kick.
